THINGS TO DO:

People visiting us often enjoy their time here to just wind down and relax; take a step back, “unplug” from the 21st century and enjoy a slower pace of life for a few days.
Just don’t think this means there’s not much to do at the farm:

In the summer:

Hike or bike our 5-km network of trails
Learn how to take care of the farm animals
Watch Larry work with the horses and try it for yourself
Go bird watching
Putter around in our garden and vegetable beds
Help Diana do her canning the old-times way and learn for yourself (in season)
Eat great home cooking
Watch the starry nightskies and with some luck the Northern lights
Feed the chickens, hug the hogs

In the winter/fall:

Go skiing and snowshoeing on our 5-km network of trails
Go tobagonning (a typical Canadian sleigh) down slippery slopes
Enjoy a sleighride with our horses steaming up the crisp winter air
Watch the starry nightskies, and with some luck the Northern lights (most often in February/March and August/September)

Sorry, no hogs to hug in winter…
